That was a great last lap.  What were those sparks coming off of Rossi's bike early in the race?  It made me nervous the whole race.

I *thought* they were titanium toe sliders possibly  :-/  Dunno though.  I can rewind the Tivo and play it in slow motion, but I don't think I'll be able to tell.  My vote is for toe sliders.   The suit he wears has Ti all over it.

I was thinking that, but didn't know exactly.  For a minute there I thought I saw his shifter just swinging loosely.

I watched the sparks in slow motion the second time they showed them - he took he foot off the peg and touched his toe to the ground - sparks flew - Don't know why he'd do it - maybe to distract the riders behind him...
