Racing novel to be published!

They say it took Steven King fifteen years to sell his first book.  Don't know how I could have gotten so lucky, but I found a publisher for my novel.  I can't tell more than that, because the publisher says it's not good to generate publicity before a book is ready for sale.  The release date is still probably a year or so away.  I certainly won't be drowning in money from this deal, but at least I'll be a published author!
So at the moment I'm struggling through a professional edit.  Ever notice how edit and audit sound a lot alike?  I keep flashing to images of people being caned in Singapore... :o
