There was much controversy regarding one Aslon Goow Jr.  He appears to be the victim of an internet identity theft within the racing community.

Aslon showed up on my board trying to sell some tirewarmers.  He was met with a cold response based on the problems associated with his NAME (name.  not him personally, but the name).

Anyhow, in an effort of verifying who he was and how genuine he actually was I told him to send me the stuff he was trying to sell and I'd sell it for him.

4 days later, I have in my hands 2 sets of Chickenhawk tirewarmers (both of which I believe are spoken for, but if you're interested, email me...).

Anyhow, my point here is that if you have questions regarding anyone claiming to be Aslon Goow Jr, please email or call me (262-993-5416).  I can validate his REAL email/phone/home address.

Cheers...

Do or do not, there is no "try".

Jeff

Dunno... There are still unanswered questions, but I can tell you that in my case, he DID have the stuff he was offering to sell, and without hesitation, sent it to me (without me sending him a dime for it).

Thieves aren't quick to trust other people, and aren't quick to pass out their phone numbers and home addresses (had to have somewhere to send his check to once I sold his stuff).

In the end, people can make their own judgements.  I'm just trying to provide more information for people to base these judgements on...

Nice work, Jeff.  Racers helping racers.  I feel so warm and fuzzy...
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

I've done business w/ Jeff four or five times and I only met him once many moons ago at the -19 degree track day at Gateway.  He has always underpromised and over delivered so if he says this guy is legit - you can take that to the bank.
