Ok so first race for me on Sunday Lightweight Supersport I wound up in 2nd going into 3 got a little too excited and tried pushing too hard on the front without enough heat in the tire. Leave it to say the front tucked and I lowsided.

When I got up there was another rider, that went off too. I went over and asked him if he was ok, and if I had hit him, he said yes you hit me, and you cut me off.  ??? Kind of confused because I was in second, could clearly see the guy in front of me, and was hugging the inside pretty good through there. Oh well I apologized and left it at that.

Later in the day, he did give me the thumbs up on the grid, which is cool. But after the LWGP race I was talking to Jonny Moore, and found it, it was actually him that he had hit not me. So just wanted my name cleared for the record if you're out there, wasn't me that you hit man. I'm sure things got kind of squirly behind me after I tucked the front, you know people adjusting lines and such, but my crash was solo.

I know who the other rider that was involved in the crash, and he's not on the CCS board.

You'll have to wait until the next time to talk to him.

Oh well, just thought I'd post it here and maybe someone knows him can relay the message. Or I'll try to track him down. It's no big deal, and like I said he gave me the thumbs up on the grid so I think after he had time for the adrenaline to wear off he was cool with it well as much as you can be from a crash. The main thing was he was ok, he actually finished that race I think.

Yea he was cool about it, and yes, he did finish that race (5th place) with a shift lever that was bent around so he could shift because the knob came off.

At least he's not afraid of scratching his tank anymore...  LOL!

P.S.  I didn't know who the 'other rider' was....

... but now I do, I'm glad your OK.

That's cool, yeah when I saw him take off I knew it wasn't that bad, then seeing him on the grid later was a good sign too.

Yeah I was fine, that was a pretty easy crash lowsiding is the way to go if you have to crash. LOL

Kind of did a number to the bike, but luckily I had spares. Dented the tank (again) then broke both levers, brake resivoir and cracked the plastics. But new levers, some duct tape, and zip ties, and it was good as new. :D
