The MW boys are fast as sh@t here..  All the races have been great and close.  Filled with a lot of run offs in T5 and the fast sections.

Me (a nasty burn on my foot) and my bike (bent forks) are still recovering from a crash at Roebling. Still almost went as a spectator.

Hey, cabbage996, where at in Mississippi? I am in sportbike (or lack thereof) hell in Pascagoula.

I'm in the sportbike hell of Starkvegas, I mean Starkville.  I went riding yesterday and found a road with about 1 curve per 5 miles, so that was exciting ::)

I can't believe anyone didn't go.  I thought everyone was there.  There were so many bikes.  I think they said that there was someone from every state.  I talked to people who drive from California and Oregon, etc.  The side car dudes kicked butt!  It was an awesome weekend.

... a sanctioning body capable of running a National level event was also missing and nowhere to be found.... anyone else notice  ???

Yes, Photo Chick, the sidecars where absolutely amazing to watch.. those guys/gals are truley nuts.

To bad they to where  sacrificed (like everyone else)  for the betterment of the track schools.... :-[

I think you need to get your facts straight before you start making such statements. The staff that put on this event did their very best with what they had to work with, had you asked someone we would have explained to you the "new" conditions we had to work with. It is not our fault when riders wreck and cause red flags but the staff and cornerworkers work hard to clean up the messes and get back on schedule and when the track management changes the available track time what do we do then!&? Did you attend the riders meeting where it was annouced that there would be no more riders schools at an FUSA event or were you one of the many mising riders? There were almost 400 riders this weekend and maybe a 3rd of them showed up at riders meetings.

I have a question:  I know the whole team challge thing was an issue but why did getting the results of that race take priority over the results of races that were completed way before the team challe event started?

buffy

Hi Smoke
I wish I could tell you that. I had taken a rider upstairs to get his laptimes and race results and I was told that they were working on completing the team challenge results and at that moment it took priority, it might possibly have had something to do with the number of "protests" and the meeting with some of the team captains and higher powers of CSS were having. It was really hectic in that room.  :o I am sure it was frustrating and I am sorry. I know that is not much of an answer but I will make a few inquires and try to get more information. Will that be okay, it may be tomorrow....
