What is "performance index"?

Kinda like a batting average how many people in the race and then that number subtracted from the number that beat you over the number in the race.

IE 25 people in race you finished 1 then you are 25/25 or "racing 1000" or say with same 25 you finish 5th then it is 20/25 or "racing 800"

where
T = total number of people in your races, including yourself
A = total number of people who finished ahead of you
