It wasn't until Sunday at Road America that I heard that Ronald Reagan had died.

I knew that he was old and would die, as we all do...non of us get out alive.

Still, I do have a sense of loss at his passing even though it has been so long since he was President of the United States.

My thoughts go out to his family.

I am rather apolitical, but I felt the man to be honest and honorable.

Being from Nicaragua, I was very much affected by his decisions as president of the US. I find it very sad that he passed away, even though I was expecting it just as much as you. Always had lots of respect and thanks to him for what he did to help my country. Felt bad for him somewhat getting in trouble over the whole Ollie North/Contra affair.

Don't give up on your dreams! If an illiterate like K3 can write a book, imagine what you can do!

I too felt that Reagan did some great things during his Presidency that often times were met with ignorent criticism. The 'Star Wars' defense system that he tried to impliment was brilliant, but sadly met it's end before it could become a reality (that system alone could have disabled and/or destroyed the planes involved in the 9/11 tragedy before they reached their targets!  >:( ).

I liked Reagan's humor and respect the things that he did for this country. Good bye and God Bless to Ronald Reagan.

I loved The Gipper.  Taught me alot about life.  Shaped me politically.  A president I was very proud of and revered.  Larger than life.  There will never be anyone quite like him.  God speed, Mr. President.

I admired Reagan too and it's sad that he's gone (though he did live a long, full life).

As kind of a side note, I was doing cardio at the gym when the news Special Report breaks on (closed captioning).  The first thing I think when that happens is terrorist attack.   :-/
