Jeff

I spent an hour talking to Bob this morning and I am REALLY excited to go up and race with these folks.  If what he said on the phone is anywhere close to true, they REALLY have their act together.

I got the very same impression after my telcon with him last week.  Their focus on the fact that it's club racing, and not a stepping stone to big buck racing was really nice.

The tracks they are lining up for next year are great (location wise) and will be a ton of fun to run.

So Jeff, what did you learn about what us dedicated CCS racers have to do differently for the Fasttrax run events?

I called them months ago.  They were extremely helpful to me, also.  I REALLY wanted to run the endurance race.  Why am I so broke? :'(
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

Weell.... Sunny....

If all works out as Bob discussec it, the GL regions may be racing at Nelson, Grattan, Gingerman, Putnam and BeaveRun :o :D

How cool would that be? 8)

Especially if BeaveRun finishes their track extension plans for next season.

QuoteSo Jeff, what did you learn about what us dedicated CCS racers have to do differently for the Fasttrax run events?

Really nothing different.  You must have a back protector and steering damper.  It's mostly common sense stuff though.  Really, if your bike passes CCS tech, it should pass Fasttrax.  The classes are very different.  Sat only has a 3 hour endurance (with 2 mandatory 5 minute pit stops), then there are like 9 races on Sunday for your sprints.

Sprints are 22 minutes...

2 classes for $140, and all other races are $35/ea (except the team challenge of course).

Really, call Bob and discuss it...  Or just show up.  It'll be a good time for sure...
