True story.  The wife wanted a bike, but we were broke.  I bought an A model 600 Ninja for $300 in boxes.  I got it running, but needed bodywork.  The used pieces I found were from many different paint jobs, so the bike was a rainbow of uglyness.
She wouldn't want to ride it like that, so I sprayed the bodywork with a semi-gloss black sealer.  It looked pretty cool!  Before I turned the bike over to her, I took a few extended test rides to be sure it was reliable.  I live in a fairly large town that is out in the sticks.  I was 20 miles East of town in the cornfields when I stopped for gas.  A kid at the station asked me about the paint.
I could see this kid was a rube, so I decided to have a bit of fun with him.  "Can you keep a secret?"  "Yeah!"  "It's radar absorbing paint.  My uncle works for Dow-Corning, and they make this stuff for the SR71 and the Stealth Bomber.  He stole a can for me."  "Wow!  How does it work?"  "I fly past a cop at 160, he sees zero."  "No shit!"
A whole summer passed.  Laura and I are out for a ride, about 50 miles West of town.  We pull in for gas.  A kid walks up to the bike and asks, "Is this that bike with the radar-absorbing paint?
How many kegger parties do you think it took for that story to travel 70 miles through the cornfields? ;D
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"
