Oops I high-sided myself to a broken sacrum.
To all of you laymen out there, that is the bone of the spine that articulates(creates a sinarthroidial joint) with the bones of the pelvis, and also is joined to the coccyx(tail bone).

Another dumb sh!t move by the number 30 rider.
Oh well, that'll teach me...I hope.

Bent the rt side fork but the triples are good.  Broke the rear caliper brake tabs off and busted the fork
cap... weird injuries for this type of crash. didn't touch
the tail, or the tank. Oh and it bent the rear wheel.
The bike is in better shape than me!  It should be back together by the end of next weekend. Sending the forks out early next week.

Tom Mason and I tried to rationalize the ejection by chalking it up to a less then optimal tire temp and some debris from the in and out of the dirt/grass
back and forth to my pits race start postponement frenzy. Just another great decision made during the on and off again rain filled BHF weekend. Oh well...
could be worse, I could have lost to Bryan Johnson!
Holy Cow!!! That kid was on rails! I'm glad that I was out of commission. He kicked some serious butt!
Kudo's Bryan!

Just goes to show that our amateur class last year was a strong one.

My butt is now the same color as my bike, black and blue. See you all when I can lift my left leg. ;D

The man with the $200K spine...

K3 Chris Onwiler

heheheheheheh...  He said "coccyx!"  Sorry you're hurt, dude.  But at least it wasn't your cervex! ;)
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

right there with you brotha...
I have a little more space now in my left sacroiliac joint(SI joint) and I fractured the spinous process of S1. Man you guys, I have never been so swollen!
I have a Ghetto Bootie (no offense) but only on my left side.  I won't be able to tell if there is a disc herniation until the swelling goes down. I will then get an MRI.
Steve,
did you have swelling and numbness? This whole thing is just weird...I should have broken my arm or something. Anyway, thanks for the well wishes, and I will be around. I enjoyed working for Tom Mason mounting and balancing tires all weekend. If nothing else, I will come out with him until I am fully healed...but you know me, If I can get my leg over the seat, I will race!

Corner, I might come to Grattan to help Tom Mason...but I won't be riding. See you then ...maybe.
