Why did Nicky Moore start off the season riding Honda, go to Europe because he was riding Hondas, and is now riding a Suzuki in the AMA round at Barber?

 ???

Super Dave

I think it was an older Honda that he rode in CA...F4i?  Europe?  Would have been what the team that wanted him rode...so...

Suzuki here?  Well, there's decent contingency, and Mel Harris and Morgan Broadhead might have hooked him up.

Lots of behind the scenes talking...

SD,

I'm trying to extract the behind the scene tidbits.  I saw a picture of NM in RRW from his British experience.

Not so. Not to take anything away from Nick but no way would he have been so fast on an F4I, He was racing an RR at Streets on Pirelli's. That was the connection for the ride in the UK. Now he needs to go to wherever they give him a ride and keep the momentum he has going. The kid can ride and he's not shy about trying new stuff until something works.
Working with someone as good Carry Andrews will help so much with his only week point; Set up.

Will is correct- it was a 600rr at first.  In fact, in that inaugural AMA Pro race,  Mark Ledesma and his shop North Valley Honda installed the front end off of Mark's RR since the one Nicky qualed on was not set up right.  Nicky ran the 'new' front end in the race with just the warm up lap for practice.  The kid is good.  As far as Suzuki's,  I think he is getting some wild opportunity and I hope he does well.  Will is correct agian in the fact if nothing else it will help him learn how to read a machine and deal with changes and help hime to learn quicker-like the pro's.

Yeah, my mistake.

I went back and looked at RRW that I had, or Cycle News, and it was an RR.

Carry's doing the work?  Well, that will help a whole lot too.
