Tip number 1
Practice your body position at home when your bored !

Tip Number 2
A rear stand will not hold the bike up when you pretend your screaming around the carosel at RA.

I lowsided in my garage !!

rubberducky

I have been known to hang off when the bike was on the stand, never lowsided though. tell you what I have lowsided in the garage (more than twice) practicing warming up the rear tire with a few revolutions while the front stayed stationary if you get my meaning. Busted the pride right off when I hit the ground!!!

Just another "episode" in the ever present learning curve.

Its a LP adustable rear stand.

Its a good thing the front body work wasnt on !!

Those LP adjustable width stands from what I've seen are not stable at all.

LOL, glad you and your bike are OK.  That would have sucked if you had broken a collar bone.

Then again, those usually get broken during a high side! ;)

I recommend pit bull front and rear stands.  You can still tip the bike over, but you have to be hanging off much further... ::)

IMHO, Lockhart stands are junk.
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

I have Pit bulls for my YZF. LP ones for the racebike (want to change as soon as I can)

because it's an adjustable width stand,  its wider than most others and more stable.

The stand stayes upright, the bike tipps over.  I was practing getting to the edge today.  this time next to a table to grab on too.

But its more shoddy built than others. I know, I have one. I had one of the pad holders decide that it doesnt want to be part of the stand when I wanted to put the racebike back on. Not real fun trying tp hold the bike with one hand and re-attach the pad assembly back on the stand with the other,
