Heartland Park on the 20th is a MW event so you should be there.  If your not in it for points call and get your money back.

i planned on going to all the midwest races i could, but due to a baby i am forced to miss heartland park and mid america.

i thought i would only miss two rounds, but now due to ccs' f@$%k up's i will miss three rounds because i didnt get to race on sunday cause my races didn't run.

the best solution is to refund everyone who was entered in the rescheduled races.

that way nobody looses road america points if they can't go to heartland.
anyway,
you think they can run five extra races in a one day event.
last time at heartland they cut laps in the last few races cause they were running out of time.

five more races...... i doubt it.
just cancel them and give us all refunds.

I think the only fair way to actually run the make-up races would be with all 3 regions present at the same time that were at RA. Otherwise if you had say 5 riders at a single region event the difference between individual finishing positions, and the points paid, would be different than if all 3 regions were present. Also how would it be decided for people following multiple regions, would I race at multiple events then?

As far as refunds for those races goes, I suppose it would be fair if all racers in those remaining classes were refunded and no 1 raced them at all. But, I highly doubt that would be the option since CCS still had to pay the huge rental fees and costs associated with the RA event, and refunds for those races would probably be something like $10,000 (guessing). To move those races to another triple region event doesn't lose CCS any money and would only require running races at that event using the number of laps we used last season, for the entire event (we always seemed to finish early last year). If some people can't attend the triple region event with the RA make-up races, then refund them their money, because if their not attending that event in the 1st place then points are most likely not of concern.

Road America was a 4 region event.  I would have been happy either way...I guess it worked out better for us than you.  Sorry.  Hope you can make it anyway, my teamate had a baby in NICU and made it to Road America.  You'll find a way if your motivated.

Sorry Chuck....

I have to disagree with you there.  Everyone knows that I would do anything to be at the track and get Paul to the track.  However, if we were racing at the time that Renee was in the NICU (not that he would have because to him family is first), I would have had his balls.

Just to clarify, RA was a 3 region event:  Great Plains, Midwest and Great Lakes.  There is no Northern region.

I say reschedule in the Bahamas the 3rd week in January.  I'm pretty sure Team Stumpy can make that.

Your right, Im looking at a copy of the printed CCS schedule it lists a Northern Region.  When I went directly to the CCS site they don't list one.  Another reason I'm a newbie I guess...

Familly is first for everyone on the team, I think my Teamate wanted to keep racing to keep his sanity.  He's been doing nothing but Hospital activities for 4 months now.

Blaise is doing well, she is 6 pounds now.  As soon as she can eat on her own she is going home...finally.  Thank you, Mike needs all the support he can get.

By the way...I'm down for the bahama reschedule as well ;)

Aahhhhh...

Now with more information, that make sense.  Wow, I remember those days.....   :(  I can see why he went racing now.

I hope all goes well, my prayers to everyone.
