OK....

Last year, CCS did not forward, or it got lost, the race results for one of the race dates in May.  These forms were resubmitted and then the contingency paid out by the manufacturers.

We received our Pirelli contingency certificates on 10/06/03.  We were done buying tires for the 2003 season.

I didn't worry about the certificates too much because I was under the impression that they were good for more than 90 days.  Now that the 2004 season is here, I was going to "Choose my vendor" but it says we have no certificates to spend.  (That $140.00 would have been a great down payment on a fresh set)

Does anyone have the scoop on this?

Thanks,

I lost out on $225 due to a computer error.  Not sure whats at fault, however I'm out the bucks.

I had issues with geting my certs too.   >:(
This contributed to me making the switch to Dunlop for this season. If they're good to me, I'll stick with them. But I don't have much loyalty to a contingency program that gets you your certs either late, or not at all.
I'd rather they just made the bloody tires cheaper to begin with!
