Toe Sliders ??

What about titanium toe sliders?  Are they legal with CCS?  I found them on a European website.  They are about $40/pair.  It beats the heck out of replacing my Sidi boots every season.   :)

2004 rule book:

5.1.5 Knee and toe sliders that emit sparks are prohibited.
