I am going to be going to the Vegas Classic course races, and have not ridden the track yet...I am wanting to do the trackday on friday and see only 2 groups running. Correct me if i am wrong but racing as an amatuer i will be with the street riders? Or how is it going to work? Thanks  :)

Zac

Assuming we're talking about Friday April 30, there are two rounds for each practice group (6 of them), you'll be in group 2 which is all the little bikes.  GT races start after lunch, and there will be a few sportrider track day sessions thrown in between the GT races.  You might be able to sign up for the afternoon sportrider track sessions, but why not just enter GTL?

And bring taller gearing than you use for Firebird East, but jetting will be pretty close (I'm sure Dale could give you the rundown for the 125).

Thanks Zac! I will toss it around thinking about signing up for the GTL, however i will be against the 250's!! rrrrrr....oh well....its good tracktime....
I have heard about the gearing needing to be changed....jetting should be the same too.
Good luck at Streets!!!

Hmm...after looking at the schedule again, it shows that there is 6 groups doing practice that day...besides the trackday groups....lots of downtime in between sessions....or not?  ???

No 250s allowed in GTL, they have to run GTU, so you won't have to deal with Vince.  I was thinking about running the CR500 in GTL, we'll see.

No Streets for us.  We've got the ASMA races 4/17-18, so this weekend I'll be getting the bikes ready.  Just got the forks and shock back for Elaine's TZ from RPS, so hopefully the suspension will be a little closer.
