Every place I deal with online has to have these things in place:
Properly secure website

easy to use payment tools

A confirmation email or a web page with a reference number of verification.

If not, it gets snail mailed, faxed, or phoned.

Alexa brings up a good point.

I was on a site the other day that wanted a CC.  I almost forgot to check to make sure it was a secure/encrypted site.  It wasn't, so no order from me.
