QuoteAbout the RA Entry Fees Again. I can just register at the track correct? I don't really care about grid position at this point in my racing. I plan on racing LWGP LWSB or Super Twins and LWSS on my SV. Three races total.

So I get to practice in the morning and then qualify. Qualifying is for grid position correct? Not if you race or not.

How much $ is it going to cost me to race three races and get into the track on Saturday. Anyone know?

Thanks

Nick

As Eric said, Qualifying is for the FUSA classes and the CCS Unlimited GP class only! All other classes are based on order of entry. The thing that sucks at RA is the fact that you only get 1 practice on Saturday and Sunday mornings, 2 practices on Friday morning if you choose to go that day.

Since this is a Twin Sprint event the sprint schedule is run on Saturday, then again on Sunday in the reverse order as the day before, along with the FUSA races. If you plan on following certain classes all year you should enter those classes on both days if you can afford it for championship reasons. You may be suprised at how well you may do overall at the end of the season, even a 5th in points for a particular class might look good to a potential future sponser.

At RA the entry fees are more expensive, $75 for your 1st CCS class, and $55 for each remaining CCS class for pre-entry. So in your case your race pre-enties would be $185 for 3 CCS classes. The costs are more expensive if you enter at the track (post entry) I think your 1st entry is going to be $100 (but I'm not sure), and all remaining classes are $75 each, so post entry would be $250 in this case. Pre-entry closes 2 weeks before the event, so this is the last chance you have to pre-entry for RA (pre-entries must be faxed in or recieved online before the opening of business at CCS on Monday morning).

Gate fees are $35 for Fri thru Sun, $25 for Sat and Sun, and $15 for Sunday only. You can get a break on a 3 day pass if you order it ahead of time (before April 21st) by calling CCS or putting it on your pre-entry, that cost is $25 for a 3 day pass. I don't believe your going to be able to purchase a 1 day pass for Saturday only, so I think your going to have to pay $25 for the Saturday/Sunday pass if you buy it at the track.

I hope this helps you out.  :)
