Super Dave

If it went down and hit the shifter, it might have bent some shift forks...?

It should shift when it's not running...might rotate the wheel a bit to get things to move around....

Keep me posted, Mel....

Thank YOU!!!!!!

Here's the skinny
In a panic state a called the guys from CAD they have a spare engine. I called #201 and he came over and found my problem. When I put the rear sets together I put to much loctite on the bolt and it got inside the pedel arm ring and all over the peg and locked it up. He sanded the peg, inside the pedel ring, and added some grease on it. He also readjusted my shift rod.  To test he hand shifted!!!!!!!!!!! ; D ;D I will test myself when I get home from work tomorrow.  But I am good to go.  I may still pick up the spare engine just in case.

New lesson for me: a lil locktite goes a long way too much will cause other problems

How much Loctite did you use man?  Did you get some kind of a deal on a 55 gallon drum or something  ;D

I'm glad your panic was short term.

Baltobuell

What were you excited about? Traditionally nobody finds problems like that until they're loading up on friday night. ;D

WebCrush

sorry to scare you, didn't mean to cause a coronary.  I thought we were dealing with a general understanding of mechanic work (ie--oil, brakes, locktight applied in dollops rather than in liters.  :D

Bernie

Sweet, glad you got it fixed.  When you're in the mood for a good laugh, I'll fill you in on some of the not so successful "work" I have done on my bikes.  :o

Bernie

So did Ryan from CAD make a house call on a Sunday?  That is above and beyond the call of duty.  Very cool. :)

That cool thing is I can laugh about now as it was a dumb error on my part.

Ryan I did not come up but he did call the house like 5 times.  That shop get all my money and support  great guys all around.  My buddy Danny came over and fixed it.

Me and loctight and Don and the safty wire man this going to be a fun year!!

sanee

glad it all worked out fine
nothing worse than getting a new bike and this happens

Super Dave

Ah, good to have some relief a few days before D-Day...   ;D
