I just spoke with Spencer.  Spencer was the guy the hellicopter took out of BHF on sunday afternoon.

He's in good shape.  A couple of broker ribs.  He'll be going home the next day or so.

Just letting you know.

THANX, you know we all care.....

and if he gets this, he knows we do, if he's not online, tell him....

Yea........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate helecopters, but I am glad we have them when we need them.  Pass along our best wishes.

I am glad he is doing well since I heard the crash was real nasty looking. I heard that he hit the wall head on and that this was his first race ever!

I am really glad to hear he is okay, Spencer and Pete seemed like such good people. I met them both 2 weeks ago in race class.
I know all his friends and family were worried.

Best wishes from John and me, too.  He had just taken the school the day before, right?
CCS AM 815... or was that 158?

Glad to hear he is ok!

If an ambulance ride across the river costs $600 in St. Louis, I wonder how much it costs to take a ride on the bird?

Thanks to everyone thats posted about, read, or just been interested in Spencer's condition.

Rockford Memorial is going to release him Thursday, at which point I'll have to inform him that his suit has been cut in half and that we forgot to account for helicopter rides in the team budget.

We were obviously all worried but it looks like things will turn out fine.  We'll see everyone soon.

Thanks again,

Peter

Thank God that Spencer's injuries were limited to a few broken ribs. I hope he comes back and gives it another go. Hope to see you at the track again Spencer!  :)

Ytak1... how are you recovering? Recovering from what you ask? From the royal ass whoopin I gave you in our race  :P
