Thanks CCS, I got my license, rule book and a new transmitter bracket today...but, I have a question- What is up with the new mount? It's friggin' HUGE!!!! There isn't a flat spot on my tail nearly big enough to mount that thing. Can we still use the old mounts, or did the transmitters change for this year?

Gary you may have been sent one for the other system (Westhold) SW and Pacific use the AMB system. FY the Westhold bracket can accomdate a AMB transponder just does not have the peg with r-clip for securing, it must be ziptied.

Hmmm....

I got my license, rule book in a folder. The letter said there was a transmitter bracket included, but there wasn't one in the package.  ???

I just spoke to them and they said they'd have them at VIR if you didn't get one.

Yea, same question here... are the transmitters (for the SE) the same as last year.  Would I be able to use my mount from last year?

I have been out of racing for 2  years and will be racing at VIR in a couple of weeks.  Now these transmitters are they supplied byCCS or do we have to buy them like the Wera transponders?  TIA

They're supplied.  ;D From what I read.  ;)

they will hand it to you when you register, and you have to return it before you leave. No extra costs like WERA. and you dont have to charge it, if it runs out of juice just take it back and they give you a new one

Got my pack in today. Very surprised to see a printed rule book. ;D
