On the Fence about Topeka

I'm on the fence about going to Topeka (from Milwaukee) for a non-MW points event.

My thought is to drive down on Saturday afternoon to get there Saturday night. Race on Sunday, then drive back to Milwaukee on Sunday night.

Anyone else thinking the same crazy thoughts? If so, please contact me. I could make room for a bike in my trailer and would welcome the company and gas money...

Yeah, I am thinking about going down Firday Night on a Red eye run... leaving after work.
Then coming back after my 3rd race on Sunday (middle of the race schedule)
I want the practice Sat, as I haven't even been on that track.. and I just got done totally redoing my suspension setup...

I talked to Karl this morning and he said you talked to him yesterday. I really wanted to go but seeing that this is not a MW points paying event now, I cannot justify traveling 8-9 hours for basicy a track day. If I were chasing  points in the GP reigon then I would go but I am not. I just dont have the $ to do both reigons. Sorry dude! But if you go, I wish you the best of luck!!

     I am also going alone tomorrow and was planning on leaving Rockord Illinois around noon Saturday so I would be down there around 9pm. If your still looking for someone to share the ride with and didn't want to leave too late in the day I would share the ride with you. I don't know what your trailer and tow vehicle are but I have an '02 F-250 Turbo-Diesel Crewcab pickup that I would be willing to pull your trailer with if you wanted? My trailer has had some issues the last few times I took it but I was going to be taking it anyway, but if yours would hold my bike too I would be good with that.
