OK.... I just got off the horn with Tiff and she and Kevin both say that Topeka is "NOT" a Midwest event. Period.  They had a discussion/debate last week over this and the decision is final.

I just love the level of communication with this organization.   ::)

What's really going to be fun is getting the entry fee refund back from them if we don't go.

Is it or is it not Midwest?   I have a schedule you faxed to me, Tiffiney, that says it is.  I also have one printed off of the CCS website that lists it as MW.  It's a very expensive brain poot you made if it's not MW.

Exactly!! I had it listed as a double point weekend myself! I sure made a lot of plans and spent alot of money for I race that isnt even a M/W race! What about the entry fees that I sent in for Topeca? Is there going to be a refund? A credit? Man, this just absolutley sucks! I am very angry and disapointed at this point!

What is your plan to notify riders of the revised schedule?  (not everybody has web access)

Additionally, I never saw notification of the Midwest HP change, was there one?  If not, it will be difficult to notify everybody before this weekend... :-/

PS - Can I get confirmation that the northern region is gone?  That is what I was planning on racing.  Off to change my vacation...  :(

     Yes, just kinda changes things for the season with that not being a MW region event and no Northern region either (as far as I know right now). Northern region was going to be my main focus, then MW, then GP, but not GL.

I don't wanna turn this into a CCS ripfest-I'm sure whoever's in charge will make good on entries and all with refunds or credits, but I'm at a loss here. I took vacation Monday to sleep after the 9 hr drive home Sunday night. It seems odd there was a meeting of the minds last week on this topic but no racers were notified of the resulting decision?

I have come to the realization that there is NO accurate source for CCS schedule information.  Check 5 sources, get 5 answers.
