Freaky..........

I raced against Tony last year...a lot of you did.  We were direct competitors in the beginning of the season.  I hit more races than him and started moving up, but he's was still one of those guys that you stopped to talk to in the pits.  More than that, you looked for him if for nothing more than to just say "Hey".

I'm not trying to get mushy or nothin' but with a recent dislocated thumb (highside in the rain), and the release of the new R1 (I was born and bred on the street), I was contemplating my street return vs. my racing exit.  :-/  Maybe in some twisted way, Tony saved my life.

I feel for his family and wish them well under these terrible circumstances.

.........And since I'm up here....for his family....I don't care to hear "at least he was doing something he loved".  I'm sorry, but I just don't see the value in that.  Neither Tony, I, nor YOU would go out riding in any form if we knew that it would be the end of life itself.

Yeah, I'm angry...and I'm sorry if you guys, also my friends, took the hit of me spouting off.

Godspeed Tony

I am very sad to hear one of our own has fallen.  While I could not pick Tony out of a room of two people ( unless he was wearing his gear and on his bike), I wish his family the very best in these troubling times.  If anyone is aware of any support or if there is a donation site set up.  Let me know and I will spread the word.
