lol,    I R THE ENGINEER !!!
I have a hard time spelling.

thanks,  i did it with netobjects fusion.

Super Dave

Ok, it does look nice....

BUT!

I'm not paying you.

So, although I appreciate you link...you've got to ascribe a value to the "advertising" that you have on your bike. leathers, website, etc.

If you give it away, what's it worth?

Don't put your mileage for races.

Do you see these guys doing it?

Promote what you ARE doing, what you PLAN to do, etc.  Not how expensive it is.  Be someone that does something.  Even when things suck, and they do sometimes, you've got to face up to it.

You're a racer...don't need to tell that you're doing "track days"...unless you can tie some kind of promotional value to it.

Machine section is cool, but there are no pics...got to have some peeks at what you're ridin'...  Again, if they ain't payin', don't give away info.  I do some work with people that I don't talk about.  I can't give away information for free.

Race reports are great.  Don't tell us that you lost any.

I like it.  You're a DO-er...! ;D

Really, it's just about remembering who your audience is.  Do they know what high-side means?  Are you referring potential sponsors to it?  Ours started out as a way to keep friends and family informed and has outgrown it's current state.  I'm redoing our site these days so it will be new and improved for 2004.

Bottom line, figure out what the purpose of your site is and use that as your rule of thumb.

Nice looking site.  newbee??? I've seen worse from proclaimed experts.

I got schooled in the art of No Stickers unless they pay you on my first weekend. Is that what you're referring to, Dave?
I won't even put contingency stickers on , until I KNOW I'm going to place. I lost a few bucks, because of that, but OH Well.

Super Dave

Stickers?  Yeah, the better have a purpose.

I work with people that are good.  I won't work with someone just because of a deal...

Contingency stickers....I don't keep those on for when there is no contingency...pictures, schools, etc...They ain't payin' for that....

And they certainly don't get listed for my press releases...

Hey, I've even got separate sponsors for Super Dave's Race Against Cancer and Visionsports Riding Schools....
