Cabin fever must be sitting in....

So sit back and let me tell you about my fish

I have a fish that is a Fire Tetra.. he was a gift from a peep thats very dear to me.
Though the fish came with good intention... there was the trouble of naming him.
With all the witt I have (Comeon Rob... Fire away ) I tried to find a name for my firey fish.

What you call a fish of fire!
After thinking about it for awhile, running thoughts of fire though my head, I managed to come up with a great name!
"Styx"
Named for the mythalogical river of fire. What other name would be so right for a fire fish, then after the river of Fire?
So "Styx" it was
When ever you are sitting back trying to name a pet, just think really hard and remember me and my Fish Styx

Dude, you think like I do when it comes to naming animals. Cat = Azuma, not so reknowned GP125 racer. What to nickname him? Zoomies, cuz he zooms around the house. Zoom-zoom, cuz we own a couple of Mazdas.

Azuma-bikes
Zoomies-action
Zoomzoom-cars

The dog is named Bronte to confuse non-literary types. Also, because she just didn't look like a Rossi. ::) ;D ;D ;D

Now I'm dying to hear the story of how your daughter got her name.  It might sound a lot like an episode of "That 70's Show."
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

Well, there's a Welsh myth about a good witch (Rhiannon) riding out of a mountain on a white horse. I liked the imagery. There's more involved in how I picked her middle name and such, but basically, if you say her complete name, it rolls off the tongue.  :P (be good boy, K3!) :o

However, I think she's planning to paint her horse black this year. Trying to buck the good witch image?  ;)

I named our new puppy 'Chili'.  No, not after the food, but after Francisco. Not in honor of his WSB win at Laguna this year, but because he is very passionate about motorcycles and racing.

Everybody can meet her at the races this year.

For the first time in my life, I named a bike.

The first time I kicked over the CRF-450, it said "BAM-BAM" so that's what I named it  ;D

I don't know her middle name, but I have to admit that Rhiannon is just about the prettiest name I've ever heard.

Still, I'm not sure if Alexa's telling the whole truth here.  To those who know and love her, try my version on for size. ;D
I have always imagined inspiration coming to Lex (clad in a fringed leather jacket, concert tee shirt, jeans and feathered earrings, natch!) in a traffic jam while trying to get out of the parking lot at Alpine Valley after a concert.  "Hey!  I know!  If it's a girl, we'll call her Rhiannon!"  The Lex Ex hits a doobie and replies, "Whoa, dude!  That's like, so cool!"
(BTW, I was probably AT that concert myself. :-[)
Dag!  I wonder where I'm going to get my leathers fixed from now on? :o :-* :-*

Chris, I always knew you had an active imagination, but, wow.  ::)

No, I'm much more cerebral than that, however, my ex did hit the doobies pretty hard, which is why he's my ex. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Mama didn't raise no fool.
