I just noticed that Lightweight F40 allows a 800cc, watercooled, 4-valve, (non desmo) V-twin. What bike are they talking about? They only allow LWSB to be 700cc. ??? I know. I ask too many stupid questions.

Woofentino Pugrossi

Remember Kevin, there is no stupid questions. Just stupid people. ;D

My guess is that Forumula 40 goes by sportsman rules and not superbike rules. ;D

BTW gonna be at RA? If so hope to see ya there. (If lucky I'll have teh YZF750 out there to play with Kimmie ;D. OTherwise I'll have to beat her with the F2 in HWSS ;D )

Hi Kevin!  Yea, I'll be at RA. I finally got my credit cards paid off from the '02 season :o and I've applied for a few more so I'm ready for '04!!!!!!!
Besides, when I saw we got a lightweight class for us "mature" racers I couldn't resist, I knew I wouldn't have to race Eddie ;D (unless he's added a small Suzuki to his stable).
See you on the grid at RA!

So that means that an 1100cc horizontally opposed twin with built in ground feelers(otherwise known as cylinder heads) could run?  Could I get bonus points for getting off of it and just letting it spin around in circles, pivoting on a cyclinder head?

Oh God, I raced one of those air head things many years ago. Biggest worry is sticking that head into the pavement and levering the front wheel off the ground. It's not a good feeling! :o

I've always wanted to drag that old behemoth out again just for kicks but couldn't talk the owner into it. Quit trying years ago. I think he still has the thing. Hmmmm..... ;D ;D ;D

As per 2004n rulebook

All machines legal for LWSS, LWSB, LWGP, or Thunderbike are legal for LW40.

Yes Kevin, 800cc liquid cooled, 4 valve per cylinder non desmo bikes are legal.
