Howdy all!  Unfortunately there were a couple of typos in the Southwest and Pacific banquet mailers.  I apologize so much for the inconvenience--here is the correct information:

The address in the letter is CORRECT, however the banquet is at the PHOENIX WYNDHAM, not the PHOENIX WYNDHAM AIRPORT.  I apologize, I didn't realize there was a difference.

Please get your reservations in now--there are no tickets at the door.  You may either mail or fax back the letter that I mailed out, or you can call in with your reservations and I'll take them over the phone.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to seeing you all there.

Not a problem, if you'd like you can even give them your speech to do for you.

due to the fact that i now live in Chicago i will not be able to make it, i would love to but i cant i will be on my way to Daytona
but the good news is that my coach Matt Hartlieb will be their to collect my awards and make a little speech for me
by the way do we have to reserve a pit or garage at Daytona like at the Roc, if so i need to be next to Dan Ortega and Jim Petek please we are a team now
ps nice talking to you the other day you called me for a change

raptorduck952

I won't be able to make it :( So please mail me any awards.

But I do want to take this opportunity to say some thank you's for a great 2003 season. I started the season really good, but then had some bad luck with crashes, injuries, and basically limped to the finish for the 2nd half of the season not quite as fast as I started it. After over 100 races, I owe a lot of people a lot of thanks and wanted to say it here, since I wont be able to say it there.

Thank you first to my fiance' Amber Berry (Speed Network's Two Wheel Tuesday Umbrella Girl of the Year). Without her increadible support I would not have even gotten into racing. She is quite a rider herself now. Thanks for keeping my goals in sight and tearing off my bodywork after every crash. She is my motivation.

Thank you to my team, teamate and sponsors. Pro.Active racing was a great team to be part of. Rod Sherman was a great teamate to learn from. Thanks to his brother Tod as well.

Thanks to my sponsors. Pete Diaz at GP Sports in San Jose, California single handedly kept me racing the second half of the season, often working til midnight to put my bike back together after a crash in time for the next track session. Thanks to GP Sports for their support. Thanks to my other sponsors as well: Cyclemall.Net, Kushitani, Dunlop, Galfer, Custom Chrome, and UmbrellaGirlsUSA. Thanks to Art Thompson and Mike Metcalf for setting up my race bikes.

Thanks to my pit mates Simon Williams and Doug Horne for keeping me motivated all season and putting up with my whining. Si was my motivational coach all season as was his better half Loraine. Thanks to my fiend George Grass, owner of G2 racing for his support.

Thanks to fellow racers who gave me a helping hand during the season. Mike Haaren for oft selfless advice and sweat wrenching my bike during a race weekend and for getting me an additional bike. Nick Ienasch for great advice and wrenching help at cruical times. Terry Embury for loaning me his Kawi to get points in Firebird after I crashed my R6. Thanks to AFM regular Eric Arnold for "trying" to teach me about suspension set up and setting it up for me several times, despite my low suspension IQ.

Thanks to fellow racers who made the season exciting and challenging with their fast talented and aggressive skills: Al Harris (a good friend and all around nice guy who lives in Chicago), Jon Blaylock (a future star, great dicing with you all season Jon), Matt Bollman (really good guy who goes fast like a beam of light in a hurry), Kevin Wasko (fast friend and your better half Sandy), Dave Yeski, Mike Coleman, Kenny Dallas, Justin Van Dyck, Joseph Philbrook, Steve Fukiage, Pete Pham, Eric Arnold (always gets me at turn 3 a Thunderhill), Wade Sears, Julio Rivera, Brian Hall (also from Illinois. ok, I never actually saw the front of your bike Brian), and of course Tristian "the Kid" Schoenwald (you really made me earn that title Kid. I wish you the best on your way to the top). The guys from Arizona and Nevada were particularly fast last season.

Finally thanks to the CCS staff, specially Tiff. Your hard efforts keeping us unkempt unruley race types in check are always underecognized, but never under appreciated.

I won't be racing much this year, but I wish everybody the best of luck. Stay safe and go fast.

Hi Brian!  Matt is a great choice for a coach, and I'm sure you're happy to have him.  I've had the pleasure of getting to know Matt for the last couple of years and I've always loved watching him race (except for that little incident at Laguna).  As for Daytona if you'd like to request an open-air garage, all you have to do is mark it on your entry form (I added it to yours now).  We only have 60 to go around, so not everyone will get one.  You can give us a call the week before Daytona and we can tell you if and which one you get.

P.S.--I enjoyed talking to you to!  It's part of my new "Goodwill Ambassador Tour".   ;D  Now I call and harass YOU at work.   ;D

TiffineyIngram

John--It was a great pleasure working with you and Amber.  It's people like y'all that make all the bad days good days.  You're both great, and I'm going to miss you while you're out!
