I have an ice bike but my local placed changed the damn rules and won't let in canadian screws anymore.

I'm not gonna spend more money on another set of ice tires

ill supply room at daytona ya cheap ass.  you doing ccs fusa and ama??

thx Wiz, i'm counting on you here.  just give me a floor, i'm not picky.

Being unemployed since September isn't helping the cause any either.  Two Daytona trips (which entail 2 ccs events, two f/usa events, and one ama event) all while unemployed can really hurt--and i clearly have my priorities screwed up.  Fortunately, I have a large trailer and I don't seem to have any problems filling it up with other racer's bikes. :D :D

All the pieces are slowly coming together.  I should have the bike back this week from GMD, then :

slap on the subframe and electronics
mount and cut the bodywork to get that painted
put on the throttle bodies, airbox, tank
install pipe
install radiator
install new chains and sprockets

Mind you I have to do this double--once for the 'a' bike, and again for the 'b' bike.

B-bike, backup bike, rain bike, teaching bike--call it what you like. :D

But yes, I have a 2nd bike virtually identical to the mainbike except for the engine work, triple clamps, and and has bodywork a lil heavier.

I got the bike at a low cost, and the cost of prepping it has really really been affordable due to an already existing collection of  spares, great sponsors, bargain ebay hunting, and selling of stock items.

Believe it or not, its only cost me $1k to take it from stock street bike to full on racebike, and no, i'm not using cheap parts. :D  Biggest costs were the Hindle pipe, Penske triple, bodywork, and the inverted forks from a '03 Suzuki 1k.

I'll be using that bike for rain races, emergencies, as well as for on track teaching with Penguin Racing.

I'm keeping the charging system on this one (along with the kickstand most of the time) to allow for ease of use while teaching and it also keeps my cost down since the A-bike's motor is so built that I NEED to run the $$$$$ VP gas in it, plus reduce the wear/tear on it.
