Its like less than 6 weeks till Daytona.

Anyone else freaking out, running around like a chicken without a head trying to figure out what needs to get done and pawning their mother's jewelery to make it happen?

Or is it just me? :D  Right now I have two bike dissassembled and slowly making progress but it always feels like I never have enough time.

Still have to renew the F/USA and AMA licenses too!

Two sets of leathers to be cleaned up by leather repairman.

It all adds up, and then I go nutz.

Doesn't help that I've been unemployed since last September (two Daytona events in a row without a job!!)

yup, someone donated $.01 the other day.

Speaking of pennies, I also have a penny drive going.  There are like 20 of those 5 gallon water jugs at gas station, pizza places, conveince stores, etc all over my neighborhood asking for people to 'support your local athlete in his attempt to battle against the national factory race teams in the largest race in the US'.

Of course, all proceeds from the race go to charity.

I have a bunch of H1's in the garage.  That's it.  Everyone has a bigger budget than I, so they have ice bikes.  I just hope that I can ride them.

I can't ride on Sunday either.  I have the Pinewood Derby with my oldest son Alex...
