some stuff on the site actually made some sense, they have a pretty good idea going.

although, they might want to consider putting an image of the actual warmer on an actual bike... I couldn't find one

I had checked them out also.  Haven't heard of anyone who has tried them yet.  Seen the ad in this months Road Racing World and some where else I can't remember.  I'm probably going to give them a try.   ;)

Nothing against Tyresox, but that does look like their design in the test images.

I will be sticking with the Chicken Hawks.  They were great.  I did have one problem with the rear once, and, bango, they were in and out no questions.

I was happy.

I sold my tyr sox warmers with the intention of getting the chicken hawks for this season but Lockhart has them on back order so if they dont get any by Monday i think ill go with these new tire warmers.

I don't have any personal experience with them, but some SV racers I know and trust on the West Coast like them.  Also, KC @ BRGracing.com highly recommends them and that would be good enough for me.
I was going to get a set but I found a set of c-hawks on Ebay first.

Why don't you get them from Chicken Hawk direct?  If you've got a Lockhart deal, tell them and maybe they'd give you that price.

My set will be here late next month...  I'll review them.

The writeups on them seem quite intriguing, and talking to the owner (Jim), there are a lot of things that just make sense.  I.E., using materials which are heat resistant to only around 250 deg, versus top brand warmers which have materials that will resist thousands of degrees.  Saves significantly on construction costs, and if your tire reaches 250 you've got some serious issues.  2000 degrees is a bit of overkill...

AMA teams (not sure which ones) are supposedly using them this year...

I can get Chicken Hawks at pretty good prices...

Single Order (no group purchase):
Standard Model: $375
Pole Position: $475
ProLine: $610

5 to 9 Group Buy:
Standard: $360
Pole: $460
ProLine: $600

10 or More  Group Buy:
Standard: $350
Pole: $450
ProLine: $590

If they were all shipped to one place, shipping would be free.  Otherwise it will probably be an additional $20 or so per set to get them delivered directly to individual's doorsteps.

I think Super Dave can vouch for the ProLine's quality.  I'll be ordering a set of Pole Positions for myself.

those are not bad prices,. but the LP sponsorship has then much cheaper !!!  fyi ..

OHMYGODYES!

Nothing like being able to adjust the see the temperature that the tires are at and adjusting it to get the tire warm enough on a cool windy day...

Or to let them simmer at 115 degrees from the end of morning practice until race five...

Sliced bread should be so good...LOL!

I'll vouch for you too, Chris.  Nice to see you here on the board.

I'll have to reconsider pricing, what are their prices?  There's some room for additional discount, but not much.  At least I can actually get them to you.

Thanks Dave!  I really appreciate it - looking forward to catching up with you at the banquet.
