1.  Where can I find a Teka box?

2. Sproket sizes:  Whats  the deal?  Why so many diff sizes, what do the diff sizes do for a bike? how do you pick hte right size fo rthe bike per track?

3. Full ex systems:   how do you choose the best one for the bike that will get the most power? ( hindel, Ti F, yosh ?

4. Clipons  To body position:   We all have two options clipons above or below the upper tripple clamp.  My questions is does placesing the clipons below the upper triple clamp place you in a better body position?

1.  Check out:http://www.factorypro.com/products/TEKA_SFI_suzuki%20fi,%20fuel%20injection,ECU.html

2.  You need a gear ratio chart:
http://mxatvracing.com/gearratio.htm
What I have found for every single track in the Mid-Atlantic, is that +2 on the rear (16/47) works without changing.  I had no clue when I went to Barber's, so I could definitely experiment with gearing to maximize the short straight aways and for getting out of the corners quicker.  At Summit Point, I can reach 6th gear and not reach max rpm before starting my breaking / down shifting.  I also found that I needed to short shift in 2 and 7.  Different gearing could perhaps solve this so that shift patterns are in better locations on the track.  You will also notice that you can achieve the same ratio with different sprocket sizes.  This is where higher top end speed or lower torque comes into play.  Since you are riding bikes that are quite common on our tracks, I would start with the majority.

3.  There are complete exhaust systems that work better with specific bikes.  They all come with a dyno chart showing improvement over stock and you could judge by that.  I used Yosh RS-3 on my gsxr and noticed improvements from around 92 to around 96hp with pipe, jetting, and race fuel.  With my new R6, I have the same thing to start looking at.  New bike and no clue on sprocket size and moving to a FI system instead of carb.

4. I had to mount my clipons below on my gsxr as the tubes were flush with the tripple tree.  I've only seen a few mounted above.  I would think below would give you a better riding positon, unless your Donny (#103) :)  Just make sure you have at least 1 inch clearance from the bar end and the tank on each side to keep you fingers from getting trapped in a crash.

Thanks Brent
I'm in the same boat. I switched to a Fi bike for next year also.  Greg ( #70) told me a few weeks ago told me what gears he ran on his R6. I will find the post and send it too you. I got the info for danny (#201).  he changed his to the same thing that greg was running.  I 'll stop by dannys shop after work tomorrow.

ill give my 2c on 1 of the questions.. gearing...
a quote from Max Mcallister in his "suspension for mortals".. "proper gearing is worth THOUSANDS in horsepower..". Never was this more evedent than at daytona at the ROC. I was aboard a borrwed 636 to run the 2 classes i was leading points in teh FL region. The bike was making 110hp on u4 fuel. Some other riders with similar bikes & similar hp were running the perverbial "plus 2 rear" than does work at some tracks. I went down and down in gearing for 2 days in practice and rode the team challenge by myself. THe bike was able to pull -4 gearing overall and other riders were using stock and +2 gearing.. no way. They were hitting rev limiter all around the banking while my bike pulled away even when they tried to draft. William meyers had -3 gearing.. had i been able to run his pace in theroy i would have been able to come out of his draft and had some rpm to spare to get around as his bike was on the rev limiter at start finish.. i needed about 1/2 to 1 second a lap that i dont have..
More to the point though gearing will NOT work the same for all riders.. if your asking a fast rider what they are using at a given track and the person asking is an average novice rider.. The fast riders gearing will be WAY too "tall" for the slower rider. example.. I bought robert jensens 03r6. He was turning 1:18s when we were there after the ROC. He was using 15/46. I turn 1:21s and that gearing would not put me in the high enough rpm range as he carries so much more corner spped with more lean angle (smaller diameter tire with more lean and more speed).. i was runnig 15/48 but our bikes sounded similar going around the track with similar rpm. (his back up bike is the same with same pipe)..
