I should be out hanging little lights, but instead I'm daydreaming about all the improvements I swore I was going to do over the winter.

So does anyone have the contact info for the guy in the orange tent that did suspension setup down by Turn one at BHF? I think it was Trackside Suspension or something and I thought I heard positive comments about his work??

Thanks.

Hey! I got two stars!  And I thought I was the quiet type. ;)

Still a Board Provisional Novice though.  That ought to count for something if I wanted to hang back in Amateur class. ;D

Ed Kwaterski. Great guy, works at Harley for Showa. Does good work, reasonable prices.

His website is: http://www.tracksideengineering.com/

His email is on there. Let him know Nate R helped you find him.  :D

NO NO NO!!!  It was K3 who helped.  ME ME ME!!!
Seriously, Ed's a great guy, and VERY good at what he does.  The only other guy I've ever dealt with who goes so far out of his way to help you is Dave Rosno.  Now THAT'S high praise!!!
(My personal favorite was when ed told me that he might be attending the birth of his daughter that weekend, but I could still call him on his cell if I had setup questions!) :o
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

All I can say as a wife and mother.....

... he better not have brought that phone into the birthing room.  Otherwise he may have needed a doctor himself.   :o

QuoteSo, it's a girl?  :)
You know that the memory of us Formula 40 competitors can't be trusted, but I do believe that's what Ed told me last time I talked to him...

Yes, Ed had a little girl. She is cute too! :D

And yes, Ed is the best in my opinion he doesn't just setup your suspension he stays with you offering support at any event that season.

I had him completely rebuild my GSXR Suspension both front and rear EXTREMELY reasonably priced.

Then had him help me with the setup on my SV which after running at Jennings I must say I really like. Plus I'll have him ordering me a longer yoke to add the additional ride height I need in the rear. He really does know what he's doing and takes your feedback to help with future adjustments. Ok enough advertising, but I've paid other people to look at my suspension only to be disapointed Ed looked at it, adjusted it and first time out I could tell the difference. Oh yeah and he stayed up almost all night one time to have my forks done in time for me to make my practice session first thing in the morning. :D

He stayed up all night once to rebuild my freshly rebuilt shock after the battery tray let go and beat on the resivior until it loosened up and depressurised.  Not his fault, but he fixed it free, fed me dinner and sent me back to Blackhawk.  His suspension works better than other stuff I've tried.  I can't say enough good things about the guy!
