Hey all - anyone have any novel ideas re what to do with about $200 in EBC certs, other than buy rear brake pads? :-/  My Sv only needs about one set of those every...well, ever.  Don't know what all they make, but I'd sure like to know if someone has found something useful to do with them.

Yup, Supersport rotors and kit pads, one of the best upgrades I did for my SV.

Do rotors alone really make a difference in braking? (not just weight)

What does a set of EBC rotors cost, and where is a good place to get them?

Rotors and the new kit pads make a big difference in stopping power over the stock set up. One strong finger on the lever is all you need. I got mine back during the summer and I cant remember from who. Seems like the rotors were around $325. Look in roadracing world or search yahoo for dealer. BTW they are the SS race rotors, not the street ones. The race rotors have the blue carriers but the street version is gold. ;D

Yeah, but how much of that stopping power was the rotors is my question?

Our EBC dealer is Woody's Performance Parts & Accessories.  (906) 227-8800.  He takes certs, too.  Tell him Stumpy sent ya and he'll hook you up.

DONT get the pro-lite street rotor.. The Pro-lite RACE rotor is awesome. I have a set for both sets of wheels on the f4. I kept warping f4 rotors and warped a street pro-lite too. These rotors rock and you can buy just the outer ring and reuse the carrier a season or 2 later. THe 03R6 stock rotors seem ok but i may upgrade them later.
