I am glad our races are like they are. Maybe if we were more popular, things wouldn't be as nice.

My dad was looking at the rules for entering FLW bass fishing tournaments and the sponsorships are a ton different.

1. If you make it to round 3 and/or 4 of any tournament, you cannot display any of your sponsorships unless they are official sponsors of the tournament.
2. If you make it to the final round of the Championship, you must wear the tournament sponsors' apparel AND use their ranger boats. (good thing Kawasaki isn't sponsoring CCS that way :o)

So how would you get anybody to sponsor you if you can't promote them?

The contingencies are a little more strict also as far as what you can have in your boat. You can't get the fish-finder contingency if you have their competitor's GPS system. ( I don't see where that would happen with us - Yamaha engine in a Honda??, but...)

So I'm pretty happy with the way things are considering the alternative.

PS Hope there aren't too many Kawi riders reading this. I tried to pick the maker with the least bikes  ;)
