This weekend on his way to VIR Paul suffered a fatal incident. If there was anyone who ABSOLUTELY cared for racers, it was him. My condolences go out to his family and friends. Roadracing lost a true champion.

GODSPEED PAUL!!

I just got the arrangements from Tim Tucker.  He was with Paul when it happened.  Please keep him and his daughter Fallon in your thoughts and prayers.  They need all the support they can get.

It is this wednesday.

Not sure of the time.  You can call the funeral home and they can give you the information.

Paul, you will, without a doubt, be missed by everyone in the paddock.

:'(I missed the VIR weekend, and was called by Randy Rega with the sad news today. After getting to know the CCS people pretty well down South these last couple of seasons, Paul was one of those that stood out as a racer's friend and fair guy when it came to needing help. His smiling face will be sorely missed. Thoughts and prayers to those he left behind

The news of Paul's accident came to me from Kevin Elliott by cell phone just before Registration opened Friday night.  The emotion we felt then (and still feel) cannot really be expressed in words.  If I was short or rude to any of you during that fretful hour, I apologize.  I was not myself and I ask your forgiveness.

Paul touched the lives of so many during his brief 35 years here on earth.  I feel blessed to have known a man of such character, friendliness and warmth.  I cannot help but feel he was still with us at the track watching from above.  He will be missed for a very long time.

Sad news indeed. What a shock! I had the opportunity to room with Paul a couple of times at the F-USA races. What a mellow and great person he was. I, along with his other friends and family will miss his smiling face and jokes. Paul is in a better place now. And we are not that far behind. Rest in Peace, Brother. God bless you.

I forgot to mention more details about the services.

Viewing from 5-7 pm
Memorial Service immediately following the services.

I'm not sure if the address is 11 East Blvd. or 1111 East Blvd., but the info Stacey provided on phone & name of funeral home is correct.

For those of you who plan to attend ... be prepared.  Paul's brother supposedly looks and acts just like him.

I just wanted to say that I was very impressed by the CCS officials at VIR, who carried out a successful race weekend while dealing with great sadness and the extra challenges brought on by Mr. Farrell's unfortunate absence.

My condolences to Mr. Farrell's family, friends and associates.
