He is expecting a big turn out as they doi every year, I am sure the penguin school will be doing a open practice and  school on friday also.

yea but the F4 has been one trusty bike and has been very good to me.. super easy to ride, as far as a sled goes ;D
i like the Homestead facility. Like a mini-Daytona.

Melk, I thought you were on a 636 at Daytona?

Yes i was.. a borrowed bike i rode 2 times at track days. My friend/sponsor Dr. Jeff Farrell lent it to me. Let me tell you.. nothing like tippy-toein around the slippery infield of Daytona on a borrowed brand spankin new bike. ("dont lowside, dont lowside") My F4 with 22,000 miles i did not feel would have been competitive at Daytona. I did not race there earlier in the season for that reason.
Peanut, Congrats on your finishes.. you did well.

Ps.. i bought a 03 r6 off robert jensen, dynoed at the same HP as the 636..

Ok that explains it.  Thanks for the props, I'm having surgery next week so that's all I have to hold on to until Feb! :(

Another r6 eh?  It seems like alot of guys are going that way.  I haven't dynoed mine yet, I'm interested to know now though.  I was thinking it "felt like somewhere around 105-107 w/VP.  what did you get?

The 03r6 is super duper set up with michelin tires. Jensen spent all season dialing it in. I just got on and in my second session riding the thing, was lapping at my former best ever time at Jennings GP. Took a full second off my best ever time overall. It dynoed at 109 with VP mr1.
The 636 dynoed (same dyno, same guy Chad wolfe)at 110 on VP ultimate 4, but was not as easy to ride even with traxxion forks/ohlins shock.
I think if i would have ridden a bike at Daytona that i raced a few times, i would have had something more for WIlliam Myers (not taking anything away from the guy, SUPER riding all season). YOu can just imagine though racing a borrowed bike aint the same even though it was the right choice. It REALLY motored on the straights (right Thorny? ;)
