Ben Spies sets new record!

So far, sounds like he set the record for highest crash speed: 186 MPH!

He is relatively OK, but has roadrash in several areas, and needs grafts on his arm, IIRC.

Cause: Another Dunlop failing!  :o

  Thanks for the heads up Nate. Another Dunlop failure? When the tire spec regulations for WSBK were rumored to be coming around, there was an article in one of those Brit mags mentioning Dunlop tyres "over there". The source mentioned Dunlop failures being non-existant in WSBK. Have to go to read about Mr. Spies.

I think that Dave Sadowski's was a similar speed in 1991.  I think his popped after start finish.  That was in a race and I was there.  Kind of scary.
