yep, blackhawk is the next stop,
lotta people goin to gateway this weekend, but inbetween the
two woodies, i did slide out in turn 6, so imma go ahead and
relax my bruised rib (the fee for first wood in my case)
plus   ::)    i get to linger on the last race weekend that much longer,
wouldnt wanna go alllll the way to st. loui---------->
and not place :-) .....yeah, blackhawk....

We had a good battle for a few laps going on in a couple of races that weekend for sure.  If you remember me on the beat up looking white/yellow GSXR600 and I had Vansons with the checkered flags on back.

More important than the Wood, that check from GTU is sure nice, eh?

Get well! since I'm doing Gateway this week I'll miss BHF, but plan on doing BHF I think in August.  

And Congrats Wyatt, cant do any better than 4 for 4!

I wish I got some wood at MAM.  :(  The best I managed was 6th in LWGP. One shy of wood.. ain't that a bitch. Congrats Wyatt and Ike. Wyatt.. what kind of lap times were you turning? I know Edgar and Paul were turning 43's and finished 3rd and 4th. I could only manage 45's.  ??? Oh yeah.. my first wood was a fluke. My second race weekend this year at blackhawk.. it was raining and colder than a mofo and barely anyone entered. Ended up getting second somehow. I wonder what it feels like to win a race...  ???

Yeah I think it's just a matter of time before good things happen and I've actually been pretty pleased with how I've been riding and I'm already going faster than I did before I quit in 93. Man but would it be nice to finish in the top 3 before the season's end. That's my goal for this year. I'm sitting out gateway since it's a greatlakes event. But I'll be at gateway for the Midwest round for sure as well as the rest of the midwest rounds. I'm sure I'll see you at blackhawk in 2 weeks.. Talk to you then..

My best was a 1:41.7 but was running pretty consistant 1:42's.  Heavyweight Sportsman the first race on Saturday I jumped the green, got meat balled and still pulled off the win.  There is no way I could have done that at BHF having to do a stop and go on the straight away, but at MAM it cuts off three corners that you have to slow down for and then slingshots you back onto the straight with a great drive.

I know what it feels like... my first race weekend EVER was just 2 weeks ago, VIR 6-29/30... was hopeing to just FINISH the races... my first race EVER...MW Sportsman.... I WON!  , with top ten finishes in LW GP, SBK, & SS... what makes it even better feeling is, my bike is stock.

Holy crap, I never thought all that would happen!
