Ah, a nice article now on line.

This is a Motorcyclist magazine article from 1997.  They built a CB750 road racer, and I nearly beat them on a CB400F that I was racing for a guy in Kansas City.  A few pictures too.  Mike Riebe has worn those leathers for the past couple of years.

I raced the CB750 the next year for the owner.

Stump picked up a rescue CB350 and I found a CB750 in need of a good home on my walk the other night.  You know, we can never have enough bikes.  Winter projects!  Whooo hooo.

Projects?  Don't get me started.  

Here's my vintage road racer project (is that reference to me or to the bike? ).  Frame was done in January.  Maybe I can work on it soon...

I don't know if Stump was thinking vintage road racer (hmmmm).  I did hear him say "chopper that s.o.b." a few times!!!

Here's a pic of the second CB750 I raced...properly called a CR750.  I think it set the owner back about $70k.
