I need to borrow or buy a few parts for my motion pro jumbo chain tool so I can ride this weekend.  Are there any dealers or somebody who works at a dealer out there who could bring these along to Jennings:

Replacement Pin: 08-0D35, $10.70
Quad Stake Rivet Kit: 08-0142: $33.20

Alternatively, will somebody at the track have a tool that can rivet a Regina rivet master link?  How about on Friday morning?  I really don't want to use the clip master link if I can help it.  Thanks!

Prieto Racing im sure will be there. Dont think they will be there friday but pretty sure they will be sat. THey do all kinds of stuff like that. They put a chain on my f4 2 weeks ago at Moroso and rivited it with the master that came on my DID chain.

Yeah, hopefully if nobody else can help me out I'll roll the bike to them Saturday morning.

Part of my problem is that I didn't use a DID chain.  I can rivet one of those, with the open end pins.  The problem is I think I need a different accessory for my chain tool to rivet the Regina pins, which are solid.  Using the standard riveting tool just puts a dimple on the end of the pin, it doesn't flare the ends out much.

There is nothing wrong with running a clip type master-link. Just put a dab of silicone on the clip. I have used the clip type for 2 years now and it has yet to come off. ;D

I really prefer the the rivet links.  My first racing mentor lost a friend when his clip master link gave out.  And I really have a hard time having confidence in that little clip staying in place!
