The Restaurant with Rocco on NBC

Anyone else been watching The Restaurant on NBC(Sunday at 10pm)??

It's a reality show (shocker) about what it's like for our chef/owner Rocco DiSpirito(sp?) to desgin, plan and implement a new restaurant.  

They are currently on their 3rd episode I believe and I was curious if there were any other ex-restaurant people on here watching it as well.

I cooked for 15 years for various places and can relate very well to the show and stuff that is happening in the restaurant.

I am dying to find someone to talk to about it.

I saw it for the first time last night. Truthfully, the pressure they have on them is a bit more than your local greasy spoon...but it's a good perspective for anyone who  has never been in foodservice (cook or waitstaff). You realy have no idea what douchebags people are until you have to serve them.  :P

that's some real bad spell checking...lol

Yes granted it does make things a little tough when you have 6 cameramen running around the restaurant.and another 4 or 5 in the kitchen area.  tends to make things a little tense...
