600 supersport

for a new racer, what classes are open to a 600 supersport qual'd bike.  Given that everyone has warned me what a disaster Am. MW SS is, what would be good classes to run the bike in to get racing experience?

run all the heavyweight races with your 600, smaller grids, slower competitors (no flame please) and good way to get experience. 4 out 5 top finishers in MA heavyweight AM races are on 600's anyway.

But MW is dangerous, I have been rearranged twice already this year, and lost my bike in the process...
