Anyhow, NASCAR did buy Speed for thier media promotions.

Nascar didnt buy Speedvision. FOX bought Speedvision. FOX bought the rights to air Nascrap. BTW FOX also could had just used their FOX Sports Net, MSC (another sports channel which they own), regular FOX or one of their other channels for Nascar. Nope they HAD to use Speedvision because they thought 51 million Speedvision viewers WANTED to see nascar.

At least Summit was on Bike Week lastnight.  Had some clips of the WERA National 6-hour Endurance.  At least it's something...

yeah, they did show a snippit! We didn't get any footage, but got a nice mention ;).Wish there was more..it was an exciting 2min report! Take what you can get...am I typing speeds'url wrong or is it still down?

It's always wierd seeing Summit on tv.  Looks kinda small and rinky-dink.  Oh well..maybe Summit will grow up to look like Laguna...

Seems like everytime Speed TV decides to cut down motorcycle racing, they shut down thier forums. Usually because they get alot of bitching over it. ;D
