Lost/Found at Roebling Last Weekend

I found a motorcycle part at Roebling last weekend that I will be more than willing to return if someone can tell me what it is. I don't want to be too specific in describing it so I can be sure it gets back to the proper owner. I will say that this part is important enough that it would have been missed immediately and was found late Sunday afternoon.

And no, it is not a set of Ohlins forks, or a Termi full system.

Let the guessing commence! I can't promise I'll tell, but it can't hurt to make a game of it.

My first guess is... oh wait, I can't play. No fun for the game moderator.

I lost my steering dampener, a Scotts.... yeah that's it....a steering...wait maybe it was a brake lever.  Nah, I will stick with the steering dampener :).
