While performing some mantainence, i discovered that my crankshaft sproket nut had loosend up and was almost completely off.   GRRRR.

I figured this out while cleaning the chain and the wheel felt like it was binding up, just would not spin freely. Well in the process of trying to see what it was, i busted the spring thingy for the clutch.

Can someone take a picture of thier inside of the sprokect cover for me.   I only have half of the spring and dont have a clue where its supposed to go.  That is if i can get lucky and the dealer has one for me.  Else ill need to try the hardware store, but ill need to know what the entire spring looks like as i only have half.

Please help,  i need to get this back together by tues so i can leave for Blackhawk on wed.

Thanks

Super Dave

Don't have a picture...

but someone might have something.  Is there a service manual at your dealer that you can look at?

i've got the "service manual" and cant find it in there.

The nut that holds the speedo gear/sensor/aluminum thingy was almost out, and the crankshaft sprocket nut came off in 2 turns by hand.

UGGGGG  that was a close one.
