Hey guys, any ideas on camera mounting? What camera to use? How to set up everything? I could use all comments and suggestions! :D

I would like to use it in conjunction with my new my-chron 2 datalogger such that I may analyze and improve upon my riding.. thanx

I just tried out a mount from Sportbikecam.com. Cheap ($90), well made and attaches to the gas cap. Ask for the longer arm to put the camera as far forward as possible.

hey Kris, I will find out about the Micron and email you this week.

If you are going to crash again  :P better get a helmet cam and mount it on the bike somewhere, then hide the camera in the tail or under the seat. That way you won't kill your camera, maybe just the lence. You can drill a small hole whereever on the fairing you want to mount the camera. It works surprisingly well. Then you can have shots of your hand, or foot, or suspension, or facing backward shots. Very cool.

Last months issue of Roadracing and motorcycle tech featured a small flexible lens called the rcam. $299 though. You should be able to tape it to your helmet  for a bids eye view. Check out the website. I think it was rcam.com/

I use this on my bike, bullet camera and digital camera mounted easily behind # plate. and the cord on the helmet cam is long enough to film forward or from the rear

I used the viosport.com cam since there right down the road, It worked great. small, compact, have'nt crash tested it yet but its pretty well built.

p.s. You must have a video camera with video in/out for it to be able to record.
