GS500 race bike for the 500SS Class

I just stopped by and looked at this, it's 10 min from my house.  Heard the bike run, dude seems like a nice guy.  I'm putting together my own ex500 for the 500SS class, but this seems like a pretty good deal to get on the grid for slightly north of $1k.  I know it will be down on power to the honda and the ex, but it's a cheap way to enter the class.
Somebody buy it and remove the temptation.

Looks like fun, but the brakes and airbox aren't legal for supersport.

Correct, he has two stock air boxes with filter.  The rotor is off of an SV and would have to be changed.  Aftermarket MC is ok, correct, just the rotor?

I think the master cylinder will be ok, but the rotors would only be ok if it is the same diameter.  The caliper must be OEM though.

If you go faster on a gs500 because of the brakes then you are really doing something
