Gen 2 SV650 mods
« on: January 21, 2016, 10:42:23 pm »
I have seen a few people who have installed SV1000 throttle bodies on an SV650.  I know that the linkage needs to be modified but I am not sure which fuel injectors to use and if someone had a base map they would share or sell that would be a great start.   If anyone would like to share information I am all ears.

The bike a a 2004 with a dynojet power commander

Thanks
Guy Bartz

I know of the mod, but not what's involved.  I do have the parts (minus one manifold I sold to Team Hammer) from an SV1000 I've parted out, if you need them.

Great, if I can get enough information to give it a shot, I will keep you in mind.  Do you have a price in mind?

Thanks Guy

It's not SV1000 Tbodies, it's DL1000.  they are 45mm. SV/TL Tbodies are too large.  I have them on both my bikes.
You can either run adapter plates to keep the DL set up factory or run different adapters to put angle of tbodies nicer for straighter shot into intake. This way requires different linkage/fuel rails.

Guy,

In most cases I would say yes do this, but Zoran doesn't run them. Zoran can hook you up with Motion Pro Revolver cables for the DL Tbodies.

Sam. Gotcha. I figured no matter what Zoran could point Guy in the right direction.
