Well we race 3 bikes. Ninja 250, Moriwaki MD 250, and an SV 650.
We use one of Saturdays practice sessions and the GTL to get the SV set up for Sundays LWSS & LWSB races. The other Saturday practice session is for the MD. The ninja just gets pulled out of the trailer and raced on Sunday in ULTB. Having all day Saturday to get the bike ready and test out changes in a 25 min race condition really helps. Then we can drink a few beers and get the final set ups dialed sat eve and sleep easy Sunday morn knowing we're ready to go. Helps with the long drives home as well.

I understand that your saying that we have all day Saturday to get dialed in but once Sunday comes and the races start you have to scramble to make changes, etc. plus braking up the weekend into smaller bits makes it more enjoyable for everyone and my son can watch some of the middle weight races and what not. Not really sure if that answers your question or explains why I like the 2 day format....

We were at the CCS Florida USGPRU finale last seasons the way the weekend went was odd for us and seemed like we had a lot of work to do on Sunday in a short amount of time. Just was not as fun

i hear what you are saying.. and sure, if it's not the way you are used to doing things it's going to seem foreign. On the single day format, one key is to NOT make changes on race day. Saturday is for practice and changes. On sunday, put the warmers on, gas up the bikes, and go.

I just think its retarded to try and run All the races in one day. It's not fun at all. I started racing to race, not do sissy track days. We used to do 3-4 practice sessions in the morning, that was plenty. I don't see it costing any less. I see it costing 150 more each weekend.CCS has continued to find ways to make you think your spending less by making you pay more. Gt races used to be 30 min from the start of the race, now 25min when the five board goes up. Used to be 8 lap races, now 7. Twin sprints was advertised as saving you money on hotels , sorry I don't feel like doing ten races in a weekend. This format won't help the grids get bigger.

So who are you calling "retarded'? We've been doing it that way in the Florida Region for more than 20 years and you do get more seat time for less money, you uninformed misguided idiot!

I love the FL format and the $55 a class. You the man Henry! Way to  :kicknuts:  :thumb: The Ccs FL events are a lot fun and run smoothly. Track days are $150 so $100 to practice all day sat is good. Then the $55 a class is less than anywhere else you race. It costs a lot more to race two days because of added insurance, I'm pretty sure. Keep up the good work Henry. I think 99% of people will agree with me that you are doing a great job.

I am sorry if your retarded and I offended you, that was not my intention. maybe calculators in Florida do not work like the rest of the world. Allow me to do the math for you. On a regular weekend most racers would do around 5 races. gt race and 4 sprints. original weekend $85+60+60+60+60=$325. this had plenty of practice both mornings,gt race and a sprint on sat, 3 sprints on sun. new format $85+60+60+60+60+150=$475. Last time I checked 475 was more than 325. So the way I see it is we are spending more money for more practice and cram all the races into each other and rush to try and get it all in. I know several racers that choose to only do 2-3 races on Sunday because it is to much for one day. That's great if that works for you in Florida, cool. But I thought twin sprints was silly when they came up with that BS, and this is even sillier. I am not going to resort to calling names like you did, that doesn't get much done. I don't think I am uninformed, misguided or an idiot, but if you need help understanding how that calculator works just let me know.

So you "don't resort to calling names"! I do believe that calling someone "retarded" would fall into that catagory? I called you an "idiot" because it seemed to suit you so well and now you back it up with your calculator & fees statement! God help you, you are an idiot!
